Germany just won against Denmark. Next opponent Greece. I just did my first gif and uploaded it to tinypic. I did this gif with picasion.com and the pixel art with pixen. It is really easy but I did not like the blury edges.
I just stumpled over the pixel art generator pixen. It has everything you need to do great pixel art. You can create pixel art really easy, you got layers and you can also do animations. This is a great free alternative to photoshop. Unfortunately this is for MAC only. You can download it on the App Store. You can find the tutorial on github.
Great stop motion in this commercial from Stefan Sagmeister. As pixxels he used bananas, people, raindrops or apples. I wonder when his happy film finally airs. He is still working on it and is already doing art shows about the topic. Recently he did a art show called “Happy Show” at the Institute of Contemporary Art in New York.
